Beginning 2001

Glick International has designed several series of furniture pieces including cabinets, tables, sideboards and now these 'entertaining' pieces. They are finished with several layers of translucent auto-lacquer that give them a hard but a strangely shimmering surface. They also contain 'hidden compartments' to secret away any toys or goodies needed to be kept from prying eyes. Just working out how to access these secret spaces is in itself a performance. The pieces have been made and finished to the highest industry standards and then subjected to close inspection before being allowed out of the factory. Each cabinet/table is not only a beautiful object but each design functions as both a contemporary artwork and a piece of high end furniture.
